Effort Level was designed so you can get a recommendation without sending the text of your task to us.
Task text
The text you enter into the advisor is evaluated by deterministic JavaScript running in your browser. The current product does not transmit, save, log, or use that text for model training.
Checks saved on your device
Nothing is saved automatically. If you choose “Save on this device,” your browser stores that task, its inputs, and its recommendation in local storage so you can reopen it. This information is not sent to Effort Level. The advisor lets you clear all locally saved checks.
Information we store
If you join early access, we store the email address you submit so we can contact you about Effort Level. If you rate a recommendation, we store only the recommended level and whether you marked it useful. If you send a contact request, we store the email address, selected topic, and message you intentionally submit. The task text is not included with feedback or contact requests.
Hosting data
Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, such as an IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Waitlist data is used only for product communication and operations. Contact messages are used only to respond and operate the product. You can request deletion at any time through our privacy request form.
Changes
If we later offer optional AI-powered analysis, we will explain what is sent before enabling it and update this policy.
